If the weather is miserable in the holidays a cool interactive family activity could be to try Taleblazer. Some of the class have had a go this week at finding some characters that I hid around the school in an online augmented reality game. Taleblazer (and I am still a novice at this) is a site where you can make games that utilise GPS capabilities from phones to find characters that you hid at certain locations. It is an easy to make game similar to Pokemon Go, that craze that took the world by storm last year.
You can make the game on a miserable day in the holidays and then get out and run around and play it when the weather is nice.
Go to taleblazer.org and make an account and you're away. Check out the video above on how to make a game and play.
